Kirby franchise heroes

Kirby is the protagonist of the eponymous franchise. In peacetime, it is soft, lazy and gluttonous. But if any evil threatens innocents, Kirby will show just how tough it is. The tough pink creature can obtain a variety of powers from an opponents it consumes.

Dedede is the current ruler of Planet Popstar. Holding a hammer and having the respect of Waddle Dees, Dedede is willing to take direct action against the potential threats to his world. While he had disputes in the past with Kirby over food, it is now mostly friendly competition.

Meta Knight is a serious, independent warrior who contrasts with most of Popstar’s citizens. Having a sword, a floating fortress and a tough attitude, Meta Knight is a protector of Popstar and a challenge seeker.

Bandana Waddle Dee used to be another average citizen of Popstar, but he, wanting to be Kirby’s sidekick in its various adventures, trained with a spear and got headgear to indicate his allegiance to both Kirby as a friend and to Dedede as his first advisor.
